Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Animal control officers battle everything from lost pets to escaped livestock

An animal control officer refers to a case involving a kinkajou, which escaped from an exotic animal farm, but was caught and returned. The kinkajou escaped a second time and was never found.
