Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Mexico Battle Over Cancun Tigers Close to Climax

On November 8th, a tiger named Satan escaped and attacked a man that Satan's owner, Jose Juarez Gil — or "Pepe Tiger" , claims was intruding on his land. The mauled man is recovering from non-life-threatening wounds in a nearby hospital.

Officials hope to remove Juarez Gil's 8 tigers and 2 jaguars and send them to a refuge in Colorado.
