Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

3 cheetahs return to the National Zoo





Three male cheetahs, Draco, Granger and Zabini, return to the National Zoo after a stint at the Zoo's conservation facility in Front Royal, VA. They will be going on display Thanksgiving weekend.

The male cheetahs, born in 2005, were named after Harry Potter characters.
