Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Zoo to close Cat House Nov. 1

The Cincinnati Zoo announced that the Cat House will be closed beginning Nov. 1st for renovations, and will reopen as the Night Hunters exhibit in spring 2011. Animals slated to be in the nocturnal exhibit include Pallas' cat, clouded leopard, ocelot, black-footed cat, sand cat, fishing cat, and bearcat.
