Tiger Cubs Cause Festival Controversy

  1. The North Carolina legislature has recently been given a REWARD for refusing to do what most other state bodies have done: enact laws prohibiting individuals from having tigers in their back yards! The reward? North Carolina has been recently named as one of the FIVE WORST STATES in the U.S. for having no laws, licenses, permits, or any regulations whatsoever pertaining to this cruel and dangerous indulgence.

If that wasn't bad enough, now the 2010 NC STATE FAIR has endorsed this "pet tiger" message by allowing the exact same booth as described above! Ten hours a day for ten days of flashbulbs and petting? NC State Fair officials - and our elected officials - apparently see nothing wrong with that: It's just a baby tiger, who cares?

  2. I think people should be able to have whatever they want, still free country. I live in north Carolina and good for them. Get tired of liberal pussys like you trying to run our life. If I want a tiger or any kind of animal that's my right now yours Dick. My wallet not yours, north Carolina is great on that topic....
