Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Worthy Causes



Courtesy Wildcat Haven- DJ, an arthritic cougar kept in a windowless barn in Michigan, has a new home at WildCat Haven sanctuary in Sherwood.


Wildcat Haven is hosting a fundraiser on September 25th to provide sanctuary for captive-born wildcats. WCH houses 52 wildcats including bobcats, serval, cougar and lynx. Wildcat Haven's site lists them as a member of the American Sanctuary Association.
