Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

County crafts new response plan for Tiger Haven





Roane County has implemented additional measures to ensure that the public is protected in the event of an escape from Tiger Haven, which houses some 286 large exotic animals. The plan includes reverse 911 calls to neighbors in the event of an escape.
