Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Neighbors: Home where bear attacked Ohioan a 'zoo'





Brent Kandra was attacked and killed Thursday evening by a bear belonging to World Animal Studios, run by Sam Mazzola. Mazzola recently listed 2 white tigers, 2 tigers, and a lion as assets for his bankruptcy filing. Iroquois, the attacking bear, was euthanized at the request of Kandra's family.

  1. Reporters have failed to ask the most pertinent question when a Jehovah's Witness dies in such a scenario:

    Did Kandra die at the scene from a fatal attack, or did Kandra die at the hospital because Jehovah's Witness Relatives refused to allow doctors to administer necessary life-saving blood transfusions?
