Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Florida Keys vet saves critters furry and scaly

Veterinarian Douglas Mader offers vet care to the Key's native wildlife and to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm. Most of the animals at the farm are rescues and are cared for by trained inmates. Among the farm's more exotic residents is a kinkajou.
