Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is open to the public for guided tours, by reservation only.

Calgary Zoo's Siberian tiger Kita suffering infection

Kita, an Amur tiger at the Calgary Zoo, was recently treated for a chest infection after she stopped eating. Fluid was drained from her chest cavity, and zshe was treated with antibiotics, pain killers, and anti-inflammatories. Zookeepers expect her to continue to improve.
